Karen Wight celebrates the human form in movement in her bronze and resin sculpture and in her fine jewelry. Sensual and athletic, spiritual and sexual her forms have the kinetic energy of dance and yoga. Her “Manitas” series honors the ancient symbol of the ‘Hand’ with hands linking together, praying, giving and receiving.
Graduating from Chouinard Art School and UCLA, Wight has exhibited in the US, Europe and Mexico and is widely collected internationally. She is currently represented in San Miguel de Allende at Pergola Gallery in the Instituto, Generator Gallery in Aurora, and Casa Diana de Arte, 48 Recreo.
