Angela Gentleman was raised in South Wales, U.K. but lived and worked in Bermuda for over thirty years. Bermuda. She believes that art has no boundaries and anything is possible. it is all about the journey, not the destination.
As a contemporary painter focusing on non-objective art it is not her intention to create an abstraction of a physical subject. Instead of trying to pin down a subject from the objective world, she wants the viewer to respond emotionally to the shapes, colours, lines and textures in the ways they are combined and related to each other. Her paintings are her way of making discoveries about the world and about herself.
